Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F has already landed in India, but for testing only

The Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone is said to arrive under the model number SM-G920F and we’ve just learned that the handset has already made its way into India. The phone isn’t a retail model, but most likely a prototype unit as the listing clearly states it’s not for sale and for R&D purposes only.
SamMobile is reporting that the entry on the import website was dated December 17 which is just a few days back. What’s also worth mentioning is that the SM-G920F is basically intended for European markets and the price attached to the phone is Rs 18938. Clearly, that’s not the premium amount you’d expect to find on a flagship phone like theSamsung Galaxy S6.

And the final retail tag is for sure to be double of what’s currently listed. The upcoming smartphone has been leaked multiple times and we’ve also seen it in benchmarks. What we know so far is that the company is designing it from the ground up and there will be two models for different markets, as usual.
One phone will carry Samsung’s new 64-bit Exynos 7 octa core chip, while the LTE version is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 810 SOC. There’s also a third model which will have a curved display like the Note Edge and it might end up as a limited edition release. Features like 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and Android Lollipop are obvious. Additionally, Samsung will most likely throw in a QHD display of either 5.2 or 5.5 inches and a 16MP or 20MP main camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is being developed under the codename Project Zero and it’s expected to debut at the MWC 2014 or around the same time.
